From conserves to pickles, sauces and sott'olio or "under olive oil.” Join us as we learn to preserve ingredients from our local harvest here in New York, Italian-style. In this class,we will demonstrate various methods of food preservation using seasonal ingredients available right here to you at surround area Farmer’s Markets so that you can taste summer all year long. After a tasting of some Acqua e Farina Vegetables in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, you will have the opportunity to make your own preserves depending on seasonal availability!
